Hell of a Day

So it started off unhappy with weigh in, and then seemed to go on for forever.

Weight:     318.4 lbs
Body Fat: 45.7%
Water:      41.6%

Breakfast went well enough.

I had the frozen Homestyle Pancakes cooked in the toaster for breakfast.

With them, I had a piece of wheat toast (carbohydrate), a ounce of chicken (protein) and a juice box (fruit).  This all amounted to about 340 calories, give or take.  After breakfast, I headed out on my courier mission to DC.

Upon arrival in DC, I commenced my travel diet failure for the day, which, if I were not on a diet, would have actually been fairly healthy (sort of).

For lunch, I had the Italian BMT on wheat from Subway, with lettuce, green peppers, black olives, mustard and pickles.  This weighs in at around 960 Calories.  Which isn't TOO high for a person on a 2000 calorie a day (standard) weight maintenance diet, but is damned high for someone trying to lose weight.

We had some paperwork to fill out, so I grabbed an Iced Coffee Unsweeted with a Shot of Espresso from Starbucks.  I added a splash of nonfat milk for color.  Basically zero calories.

After an afternoon of escort missions, I proceeded to get on the road.  This should have taken about 2 hours, but ended up taking closer to 5, and I didn't find food until after 7, so I was quite hungry/irate.

I'd eaten at a Baja Fresh all of once before, but I'd enjoyed the experience, and the food seemed a bit healthier than standard fare at a Chipotle.

For dinner, I ordered the Chicken Baja Burrito, which comes with a small bag of chips and with that, weighs in at a total of 1000 Calories (790 for the burrito itself, 210 for the chips).  I consider this a minor victory, because I damn near ordered that and some tacos, which would have skyrocketed the calories of the meal.  All that aside, eating it was better than sex, to me.  Yes, I know, dieting may be destroying my mind.

So this brings us to just about  2300 calories for the day, which isn't TOO awful, but it's certainly more than I'd like to say I ate, today (yesterday, now).  I'm thinking that I might run an experiment in eating, Friday.  I'm going to eat out for every meal, and try and consume under 1500 calories for the day.

Egg McMuffin from McDonald's
300 Calories

3 Crunchy Tacos from Taco Bell
510 Calories

Little Bacon Cheeseburger from Five Guys (no fatty toppings, veggies and mustard only)
630 Calories

Total: 1440 Calories

I may throw some undressed broccoli and cauliflower in there, too (25-31 calories for a cup, raw) to make meals more filling and remotely nutritionally sound.  Also, I may skip breakfast because I think I'm going to sleep in.  Meal time restrictions apply as per a normal day.  Final thought, I really need to work out tomorrow, I'm pissed that I couldn't yesterday or today, and I look forward to a painful experience tomorrow (today).
