So I got up when my alarm went off this morning, and therefore enjoyed a delicious breakfast.
Low-fat Granola Cereal is where it's at, mother******. I know what you're thinking, "But Fatass, granola is only for hippies and pussy earth-saving liberals". You know what? **** You!
That's right, I even had some onion flat-bread (toasted, carbohydrate) with a botched over-easy egg (protein) and a goddamned hippy liberal Sesame Street juice box (fruit). The breakfast of socialist children's programming, we'll call it. Really, I like granola for some damned reason, and the Nutrisystem granola is my favorite shelf food on the diet for breakfast.
I didn't work out this morning, and ended up taking a slight nap for a few hours, but I woke up in time for delicious toaster lunch.
Yes, the Toasted Ham & Cheese frozen meal, an old favorite, and one that makes being back on the diet not seem difficult at all.
Now, it's back to applying for jobs and staring into the abyss, but before I go, enjoy this image of a Netflix movie I got today. It shipped yesterday and the disc was intact, so I'm not going to complain about it through their system, but I thought it was pretty special that the USPS managed to maul it like this, and then had the balls to put it back together with tape. Both ends of the envelope were taped back together, but they didn't even try to hid the busted dot.

Monday Sin
I grabbed a frozen lunch, but the day went downhill after that.
I had the frozen Chicken Quesadilla.
It's pretty good, and it was the last good thing I ate today.
I spent the afternoon sanding some old furniture and looking at a new job site. There may be some promise in it.
I've been kind of feeling like shit, and let myself go to Five Guys today for a very inappropriate pick-me-up. A bacon cheeseburger and some fries (I split that plate with another person). Toppings were grilled mushrooms and onions, pickles and mustard. I've been craving one of these for a month, and between one thing and another, I just snapped today. This is no excuse to go any more off the diet than I already have, and I'm prepared to get back to serious business tomorrow morning.
I really hate this kind of diet fuckuppery, but I've learned that wasting a lot of time guilt-tripping myself isn't beneficial, and usually just leads to me running further off of the wagon. I just say "you fucked up, now get back to your routine, fatass". Honest to god, it should be that simple, shouldn't it?

Sunday Recap and Unemployment Fun
So it's been a moderately successful day. I finished fixing the weatherstripping on my trunk, as well as de-cluttering the car and repackaging my emergency car kit to conserve more space. Made sure a 7-gallon water can I recently picked up held a seal and could be held in place with a seat belt in the back seat (it can). Also cleaned out my cooler and got it set up out in the car. I made a magnetized mosquito net/screen to fit over the sun roof of the car, which will have its uses. All these activities relate to the big project I'm working on, that should, soon, be ready for a grand reveal.
I grabbed a Nutrisystem Carmel Sundae Swirl ice cream treat for a snack, since I missed breakfast and lunch.
I really don't care for care for ice cream all that much, but I'm trying to avoid my shelf food to maintain my stock for the project I'm working on. It held me over to dinner, which was good enough for me.
For dinner, I had a Lean Cuisine Margherita Pizza, and it was pretty good.
I also had some cauliflower (vegetable) and light ranch dressing (fat) for sides. It was a good meal, and fortified me for finishing some of my work with the car this evening.
I just realized as I was writing this (I took a break to file my weekly unemployment claim) that I'm about to exhaust my EUC (emergency unemployment compensation) tier 1 benefits, in a few weeks, which is problematic. I'm hesitant to mention the joys of unemployment, here, but this is part of the whole experience of me.
Now, running out of tier 1 wouldn't be a problem (other than, you know, the crushing depression that goes with long-term unemployment), I'd normally pass straight to tier 2, except for the fact that congress didn't pass the extension before the Memorial Day recess. They're starting to consider the bill again Monday, and if they pass it, I should be able to continue receiving benefits without interruption.
For anyone not familiar with the progression of benefits, for most states, the one I'm from particularly, there is an initial 26-week period of benefits provided from the state itself. Following that, you enter the period covered by the federal EUC, for which you must apply, which is comprised of 3 tiers. The tiers cover 20 weeks, 14 weeks, and 13 weeks, respectively. People who qualified for tier 1 automatically start the tier 2 benefits if they do not go off of unemployment before the period begins, and have to file a special claim when their tier 2 benefits run out and they want to apply for tier 3 benefits. After that point, many states have instituted extension programs. All told, this is 76 weeks+state extensions.
If they pass the bill, I'm going to continue planning on the big project I've been talking about, and concern over this is why I haven't revealed my plans fully, because it's dependent upon having that small amount of cashflow. Otherwise, I'll just drop the project, and be glad that I took care of some of the minor projects I've had going on in the meantime.

Weigh In, Dinner Last Night and Breakfast This Morning
So I clearly dropped the ball on an update last night. I started to write one, then there was something shiny... I won't bore you with the details.
Weight: 309.6 lbs
Body Fat: 43.6%
Water: 43.2%
The Body Fat/Water numbers are interesting to me, I think I may need to start putting a chart of them together for my own purposes. In other news: Dinner last night.
For Dinner, I tried the Chili with Beans, which was quite good. Thank God for that, because I've got about a dozen of them hanging out in the back of a box.
For sides, I had celery (unlimited vegetable), a bit of light bleu cheese dressing (fat), a juice box (fruit) and a piece of wheat toast (carbohydrate). I also had some Zesty Herb Snack Mix for dessert.
For breakfast this morning, I had some Nutricinnamon Squares Cereal.
For sides: an egg (protein), a slice of wheat toast (carbohydrate) and a juice box (cut open and emptied into a glass because there was no straw today, also, it's a fruit).
It's a lifting day, so I've got that to look forward to, and the hope that there will be more job postings today than yesterday.

Workout, Lunch, Afternoon Workout, Dinner, Workout Again
I meant to lift in the morning, then do 2 hours of Wii Fit before dinner, but I became distracted by other things, so I decided to workout for an hour after dinner.
In my morning workout, I increased weights across the board, and changed up the cardio portion a bit.
8 mins walking stairs
1 set weights
5 mins treadmill
1 set weights
5 mins treadmill
1 set weights
It was a good workout, and left me ready for lunch.
For Lunch, I had Red Beans & Rice With Sausage. It was pretty good, and I was stoked for my afternoon of Wii Fit and distractions.
Wii Fit Plus (afternoon workout)
Today's Time: 56 Minutes
Today's Calories: 468
For Dinner, I had an augmented Thick Crust Pizza.
It was augmented with some chopped green olives (fat). For my sides, I had celery (unlimited vegetable), a juice box (fruit) and a slice of wheat toast (carbohydrate). I also did eat my dessert, a bag of BBQ Soy Chips.
After dinner, I mucked about with some things involved in softmodding my old xbox before giving in for the night and engaging in some more Wii Fit.

Today's Time: 1:06 Minutes
Today's Calories: 579
Wii Fit Plus (daily total)
Today's Time: 2:02 Minutes

Despite only finding a very few jobs to apply for, I'm going to go ahead and call this a successful day.

Weigh In and Breakfast
Woke up a bit late this morning, but still on time to grab a quick breakfast before time was up.
Weight: 311.2 lbs
Body Fat: 44.6%
Water: 42.4%
I'm happy with that. If I keep my head down and power through, I should hit my 100 lbs goal before the 4th of July.
For Breakfast, I grabbed a Blueberry Muffin out of the box.
For sides, I had an egg over easy (protein) on a slice of wheat toast (carbohydrate) with a juice box (fruit). I now feel ready to face the morning job boards and the basement gym.
There aren't usually that many jobs when I first check in the morning, so I normally make a second round of checks right before or after dinner, when the bulk of the business day has finished across the country. The morning checks usually help me round up any that were posted after the evening ones from the previous day, but not so much on a Monday.
All right, time to get to it. Stay thirsty, my friends.

Breakfast Crunches
Grabbed a quick breakfast before the bell this morning.
For breakfast, I had some Cluster Crunch Cereal, which appears, like most of the others, to just be a jumble of their various cereals.
For my sides, I had an egg (protein), a juice box (fruit) and a piece of wheat toast (carbohydrate). After this delightful interlude, it's time for the morning job grind, followed by a workout in the basement and lunch. I can't put off my workout until later in the day, because I need to take care of some cleaning and make sure I hop in the shower at a decent hour, so that more Reach Beta can be played.

Lunch, Workout, Dinner
Been a busy day, so it's time for a recap.
For lunch, I had what I believe was my final remaining Ham & Cheese Melt. It was pretty good, although I didn't give it quite long enough in the toaster, and it was still cold in the middle.
After lunch, I spent most of the afternoon looking at job postings, and applied for 7 or so jobs. I ended up working out kind of late.
Wii Fit Plus
Today's Time: 1:37 Minutes
Today's Calories: 818
My workout was enjoyable, and it provided a nice segue into dinner.
For dinner, I had the Cajun Style Chicken & Sausage with Rice. I don't think I've had it before, but I might have. They all start to run together. At any rate, it was quite good.
For sides, I had cauliflower (vegetable), celery (unlimited vegetable), 2 tbsp of light ranch dressing (fat) and a slice of wheat toast (carbohydrate).
The astute among you will note the bright pink 32 oz Nalgene water bottle in the background. That's a new part of my arsenal in the war on my tubby gut. I'd previously been ensuring I was drinking enough water via the giant cup seen in several other photographs, but the frequent knocking-over of said cup forced me to move on. I've had a number of Nalgenes over the years, and other household members have as well, which has lead to some argument over which is which. No one I know (who is a man) has a hot pink Nalgene, so I figured it was a natural solution. I will, of course, need to put some manner of masculine sticker on it to affirm my machoness, but that can wait until I acquire a suitably excellent sticker.
After dinner, I was in the mood for something sweet, so I had one of my Ice Cream Sandwiches for dessert. That's all I got, I'm gonna grab a quick shower and watch Public Enemies (from the Netflix) before I pass out. G'night, bitches.

Massive Daily Entry
Sorry for the massive update, I had distractions all day. I woke up at a decent hour this morning, and commenced to weigh myself.
Weight: 316.4 lbs
Body Fat: 45.7%
Water: 41.6%
All well and good, so I moved on to other things, like breakfast.
Which consisted of a bowl of Lowfat Granola Cereal
an egg (protein), a piece of wheat toast (carbohydrate) and a juice box (fruit). This lead into a morning of fun and excitement in the job hunt (read: no good news) and then to lunch.
Lunch was the Cheese Tortelli, which I had not previously tried.
Contrary to appearances, it was quite good. The afternoon was full of strange happenings, that culminated in a decision that I needed to undertake a courier mission to the home of Marion Barry tomorrow. This means a minimum of 9-5 on the road, so that will be fun. This lead to afternoon snack.
Which was the famed BBQ Soy Chips, loved by all. In all this excitement (and due to back pain) I did not manage to work out today. This all lead to dinner, which I'll cover after I eat it.

Delicious Victory
Glad Tidings, me droogs!
Weight: 316.8 lbs
Body Fat: 45.7%
Water: 41.6%
That's right, motherfuckers, that's the 50 lbs mark, right thurr. We've got some hard numbers on this, let's look at them:
% Total Weight Lost: 13.69%
%Weight Lost To Reach 180 lbs Finish Weight: 26.84%
Days to Reach Milestone: 44
With that exciting news out of the way, we can move on to breakfast.
The Blueberry Muffin tastes like most packaged muffins taste, but it's lower in fat, higher in fiber, and smaller than most.
I also had an egg (protein), piece of wheat toast (carbohydrate) and juice box (fruit) to round out the meal.
Halo Reach Beta last night was something of a letdown. We were only able to play 2 games (which were both pretty excellent, the jetpack is my friend) until the server became unable to connect us. We waited for a little over an hour, but were out of luck. Of course, about 20 mins after we logged off, Bungie posted a note saying it was all good, so we'll try again tonight. I'll be doing some Wii Fit Plus this morning, along with some good old fashioned job search stuff. Will report back in with findings at lunch.

Workout and Dinner
I managed to squeeze in my workout before dinner, let me share it with you.
15 mins Treadmill

And then dinner happened.
Once again, I ate Wedged Potatoes and Sliced Beef Steak for dinner.
Sides: broccoli (vegetable), celery (unlimited vegetable), 2 tbsp of light bleu cheese dressing (fat) and a slice of wheat toast (carbohydrate).
It's Friday night, so for the unemployed dieter living in the country, that means video games night. Gots to kill me some people on the internet to sublimate my frustration with the job market. Don't these companies know how awesome I am?

Lunch
Grabbed a quick microwave lunch, so I should be off to workout after I run this posting.
I had the Tomato & Corn Chowder for the first time for lunch today.
It was a surprise hit, despite the fact that it seemed to contain no meat. I don't know if I'll necessarily add it to my orders in the future, because I only order 14 meals at a time, but it definitely stays on the "edible" list.
I'm going to check a few job boards and modify my iPod Shuffle's workout playlists before I hit the treadmill/weights, but that shouldn't take more than an hour and change. Between that and getting a shower, that should take me through to dinner. It's an absolutely beautiful day out, here, so I may have to go for another drive where I learn just how bad I am with a camera.

Weigh In and Jobs Report
Another day, another "thank you for applying for X position, we regret to inform you that X position has been filled" email.
Weight: 321.2 lbs
Body Fat: 46.9%

At least the weight loss news is good. Getting these emails every day and having barely any other contact from companies for the last, oh, more than 9 months, now, is getting fairly discouraging. I know that many of my former coworkers are in the same boat, hell, a large portion of the country is in the same boat, but that thought only gets me so far. Ah, well, it's time to suck it up, eat a late lunch, and get back in the trenches. Today could easily be the day I start a new life with a new company.

No Lunch, Only Workout
I became distracted by, you know, trying to find a job, so I forgot to work out until lunch time was almost over. I didn't want to eat, and then be unable to workout until almost dinner time, so I went ahead and booted up the Wii Fit.
20 Minute Free Step
10 Minute Boxing
3 Minute Super Hula Hoop
10 Minute Boxing
Wii Fit Plus
Today's Time: 0:49 Minutes*
Today's Calories: 444
*(I think this counts time spent listening to instructions, ie "now RIGHT! LEFT! LEFT! RIGHT!" etc.)
I think it assumes laziness on the Free Step calories, because I work way harder when I'm doing that then when I'm doing the boxing (and do way more steps than they have as the goal, by about 1/3 or more) and it counts for far fewer calories. Ah well, workout done, time to shower and continue applying for jobs.
Enjoy this picture of a llama.

Weigh In and Breakfast
Let's get right to it, shall we?
Weight: 322.8 lbs
Body Fat: 47.4%
Water: 40.4%
Good times, good times. I would have worked out before breakfast, but I forgot to fix my alarm last night, and didn't get up until 8. I will do my workout before lunch, instead.
For breakfast, I had the Berries & Multigrain Flakes Cereal.
I had my (now standard) wheat toast (carbohydrate) with a bit of chicken (protein) and a juice box (fruit) for sides. This combo of sides really fills me up in the morning, and I don't have any trouble making it to lunch.
Also, a partial gallery of yesterday's country adventure can be found here.
That is all until the workout and lunch update. Now, it's time for the job boards.

Workout and Lunch
So today was my second weights day, but I ended up mucking about with technology. One of the cords for the DDR mat was found last week, so I spent about 45-50 minutes doing that (actual play time ~30 minutes), during which I discovered that one of my old game discs was probably thrown away with an old ps2 that had gone bad. After that, I did my first weight set. I decided to do the lying flat parts of the routine on an incline instead of flat, so as not to be incapable of breathing properly. I then spent 5 minutes on the treadmill to .31 miles, followed by a second weight set. After that, it was lunch time.
Today, I had the frozen Chicken Quesadilla for lunch.
It was a most delicious meal, and I'm sad that I won't have another one for more than a month (I need to seriously deplete my stockpile of foods before I can get another monthly delivery of any kind).
It is a cold, dreary day here, so I'm going to go get my oil changed and then go out on a drive through the countryside with the camera. I sent out a few new job apps this morning, and my heart is full of hope, so cross your fingers for the fatass.

Lunch and Working Out
The morning has flown by, with little to nothing getting done. This is not such a bad thing, as it was time booked for sleep, anyway.
Lunch was the Toasted Ham & Cheese frozen meal.
I'm still kinda hungry, post-lunch. I'll be keeping busy for the rest of the afternoon to try and ignore that fact, I might even eat my afternoon snack. I'll probably just read for most of the afternoon, but I may actually get some job application research done. Oh, I also finished up a preliminary workout sheet that I'm going to use:
Apparently, Excel copying and pasting into blogger doesn't work all that well, but you get the general idea. I'm sure I'll be adding to this and modifying it as the days go on, but I'm thinking that I'll be doing a MWF schedule, with initial goals of 3 sets/12 reps for each exercise. Interval training, where I hit 15 minutes on the treadmill/elliptical/DDR between each set (15 minutes sounds like a good number, right?).
Edit: Reference this for what I'm doing. I basically took this routine and created easy documentation for it. We begin after breakfast tomorrow.
