First, the weigh in, then the news.

If you read yesterday's blog, you know I was running late when I left for work. Those of you who follow the twitters know that I also forgot to pack a lunch, and therefore, went and had a quesadilla burger for lunch.
It wasn't the best option, but it was enjoyable. To help make up for it, I only had some air-popped popcorn for dinner, and spent about 1.5 hours on the Wii Fit Plus. I'm trying to establish some kind of workout routine, but it's a little hard to do, given that I know I'm back on 2nd Monday, and then I'm going to 1st for at least a week, followed by the disruption of Thanksgiving.
I'm actually considering not going anywhere for the holiday, I'm just really getting settled in here and back to some semblance of a routine, and I don't necessarily want to disturb that with a holiday meal that's all about excess and the boozing. Travel of that kind also tends to be terrible for diet (though I've shown it can be done, albeit poorly).
At any rate, I'm having a piece of Nutrisystem Frozen French Toast, a slice of whole grain bread (carbohydrate), a juice box (fruit), and 8oz of skim milk (dairy) for breakfast. I'm going to grab a Nutrisystem Cheesy Mashed Potatoes to take for lunch, and that should get me through the day.
Later, Fatheads.

Weigh In
So I took that Nutrisystem Hot Dog in for lunch yesterday, and had some air-popped popcorn, peppers, and Nutrisystem BBQ Soy Chips for a snack when I got home.
For dinner, I had a PB&J sandwich, some carrots, and a bit of light ranch dressing.
Weight: 303.2 lbs
Body Fat: 42.7%
Water: 43.9%
I made sure to drink plenty of water yesterday, so I don't feel dehydrated like I did yesterday morning. For breakfast, I'll be having the same thing I did yesterday, as I'm once again running late.

Breakfast and Weigh In
Morning, Fatheads, here's the daily numbers report:
Weight: 304.6 lbs
Body Fat: 42.9%
Water: 43.7%
I should probably note that I feel rather dehydrated, today. Now, breakfast:
I was in a hurry this morning, because I allowed myself to hit the snooze button too many times, so I went cold for breakfast, having some Nutrisystem Low Fat Granola.
For sides, I had a piece of whole wheat toast (carbohydrate), a juice box (fruit) and 8 oz of skim milk (protein). Now, I've got to hurry my ass to work.
Bonus: money shot of my lunch for work.

Dinner, Inadequacy
So I took my first real walk around my new neighborhood this afternoon, and I realized just how badly out of shape 2 months of a bizarre schedule, poor or inconsistent eating, and not working out or walking much at all can make me. I walked about a mile in around15-20 minutes, and it was not entirely pleasant.
It was, however, affirming. I've been thinking I wasn't doing TOO awful, but this showed me the error of my ways. I'd actually been thinking, "well, while you're out taking care of this errand, you can stop at the deli and have dinner". My little stroll disabused me of the notion that I could get away with that, quite yet.
So I was a good boy, and came home for a nice frozen Nutrisystem Spinach & Cheese Stuffed Shells entree for dinner.
For sides, I had some sliced peppers (vegetable), carrots (vegetable), a slice of whole grain toast (carbohydrate) and some light ranch dressing (fat). For dessert, I'm thinking I'll have one of my Nutrisystem Ice Cream Sandwiches, and possibly some air-popped popcorn with salt (oh yeah, I'm living dangerously).
Oh, as a quick note, all I ate between breakfast and dinner was the Nutrisystem meal I brought with me to work for lunch.
See you in the morning, Fatheads.

Return... Again
Well, Fatheads, it's been an exciting two weeks since I last checked in at 303 lbs. I had a major weekend of travel for the marriage of one of my oldest friends, which of course meant much eating of rich food and drink for the celebrating, followed by an extra long work week to make up for the time taken off, during which I had only enough time to make the life-changing decision to buy a new car, which meant no time left over for shopping for groceries, which meant I ate fast food all week long, and then decided to have another weekend of boozing to celebrate my new purchase/put off reality for another 2 days.
I had no idea how stupid that sounded until I typed it.
Regardless, I'm back on the wagon as of last night (finally bought groceries Sunday) and also back on 1st shift, which entails a less intense kind of packing for my work meal, as well as rather early mornings.
Weight: 310.2 lbs
Body Fat: 44.6%
Water: 42.4%
As you can see, my misbehavior has caught up with me, and I, once again, have my work cut out for me. I'm in the clear until Thanksgiving, as far as routine-disturbing events (though I might have more shift-changes in my future), so I'm gonna go hardcore and see if I can't reintroduce some exercise to my routine... later, not this morning.
So for breakfast, I had a frozen Nutrisystem Ham & Cheese Omelet.
I also enjoyed a slice of whole grain toast (carbohydrate), an egg (protein), and a "jazz apple" (fruit). I'd never heard of them before, so I bought a few this week. They taste rather like pears, which is a bit disconcerting, but not unpleasant.
For lunch, I'm packing my old standby: Nutrisystem Red Beans and Rice With Sausage. It's more convenient than the other two lunches I enjoy, the mashed potatoes and hot dogs, which require boiling water or a plate and a bun.
Well, I'm off to get ready for work, keep on rocking in the free world.
